The Black Sesame Bone Tonic

1 cup Black sesame seeds
2–3 tbsp Jaggery or unrefined sugar (optional)

Awaken the Oils: Dry roast the seeds on low heat for 1–2 minutes until a light aroma rises. Do not burn!
Stillness: Let the seeds cool completely to preserve their delicate oils.
Transform: Blend into a fine powder with your jaggery.
Preserve: Store your tonic in an airtight glass jar.
