The irony is hard to ignore.

For years, Donald Trump repeatedly mocked Joe Biden as “Sleepy Joe,” using the nickname to question Biden’s age, stamina, and ability to handle the pressures of the presidency.

Now Trump is facing similar criticism after images and clips from public appearances have shown moments where he appears to close his eyes or possibly nod off during official events.

That creates a simple question: if appearing sleepy at important events was considered a legitimate concern when Biden was president, why should the standard be different when Trump faces the same criticism?

This isn’t really about a political nickname. It’s about consistency.

The same standards used to judge one president should apply to another, regardless of party. If Biden’s public moments were used to raise questions about his energy and fitness for office, similar moments involving Trump are naturally going to attract scrutiny too.

After years of hearing “Sleepy Joe,” the political irony is difficult to miss.

melania trump was born in what is now slovenia and moved to new york in 1996. she became a naturalized u.s. citizen in 2006, later becoming the first naturalized u.s. citizen to serve as first lady.

despite the growing online attention, the petition itself has no legal authority to deport melania trump or revoke her citizenship. being born outside the united states does not automatically make a naturalized american eligible for removal.

the campaign has nevertheless pushed the immigration debate into unusually personal territory, bringing the president’s own family into a controversy surrounding his immigration policies.

the wandering albatross is especially impressive. its wingspan can reach about 3.5 meters (around 11 feet), making it one of the largest wingspans of any living bird. its long, narrow wings are perfectly adapted for efficient gliding over open water.

some albatrosses can travel close to 1,000 kilometers in a single day under favorable conditions, and recorded foraging journeys can stretch for many thousands of kilometers. they may spend long periods far from land, crossing huge areas of ocean in search of squid, fish and other marine food.

their bodies also have special adaptations for soaring. wandering albatrosses can mechanically hold their wings extended, reducing the muscular effort needed during long flights. they still flap when necessary—especially during takeoff, landing or unfavorable winds—but much of their ocean travel can be accomplished through efficient soaring.

this incredible combination of huge wings, wind-powered flight and energy-saving anatomy makes the albatross one of nature’s most efficient long-distance travelers.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is putting corporate accountability in the spotlight after announcing that the city recovered more than $9 million in unpaid fines linked to Amazon’s delivery operations.

The penalties stemmed from thousands of violations of NYC’s anti-idling rules, which limit how long most vehicles can remain parked with their engines running. These regulations are intended to reduce unnecessary emissions and help improve the city’s air quality.

After Mamdani directed the Department of Finance to pursue the outstanding penalties, city officials worked with Amazon and transportation contractors to recover approximately $6.88 million in judgment violations, along with another $2.15 million in pre-judgment penalties.

One important clarification: the $9 million bill was connected to Amazon’s delivery network, not Jeff Bezos personally. Bezos founded Amazon, but the violations involved vehicles associated with Amazon Logistics and third-party contractors.

Mamdani presented the collection as a matter of equal enforcement: even one of the world’s largest corporations should be expected to follow the same city rules as everyone else.

For supporters, the multimillion-dollar recovery sends a powerful message from City Hall: big companies don’t get a free pass when city rules are broken.
