Don’t waste your peels make candy 😋

Ingredients
3 Oranges
✨1.5 to 2 cups sugar
Dark Chocolate (optional)
Sea Salt (optional)

✨Instructions
1. Wash oranges well. Cut off the peel and remove most of the white pith (optional to reduce bitterness). Slice into thin strips about 1/4 inch wide.

2. Place strips in a pot of cold water. Bring to a boil for 2–3 minutes, then drain. Repeat this process 2–3 times to remove bitterness.

3. In a clean pot, combine 1.5 to 2 cup sugar to 2 cups of water. Add more if you have a bigger batch of peels. Heat until sugar dissolves and syrup begins to simmer.

4. Add the orange peels to the syrup. Simmer on low heat for 45–60 minutes, until the peels turn translucent. Every 10-15 minutes check on it and just swirl the pot around bit DO NOT stir it.

5. Remove peels with tongs or a fork. Place on a wire rack or parchment paper to dry for a few hours (or overnight).

6. Optional: Dip in sugar or Dip in Melted Dark Chocolate (add a touch of sea salt if you like) and let harden in the fridge for 45 minutes or the freezer for 20 minutes.

6. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Lasts 1–2 weeks (but usually eaten fast :)

DIY No-Waffle-Maker CHOCOTACO 🍦🌮

Main Ingredients:
✨ Waffle cone/shell (store-bought works fine if you don’t have a waffle maker)
✨ Vanilla ice cream (or swirl it up with chocolate — go wild)
✨ Crushed peanuts (or your fave toppings)

Waffle Shell Hack:
-Steam your waffle cone piece for about 1–2 minutes until it’s bendy (don’t over-steam, or it’ll get soggy).
-Shape it into a taco shell while warm.
-Let it cool until firm — using a taco stand or even something wedged inside helps keep the shape.
-The Fun Part (a.k.a. Build It!):
-Scoop in your ice cream filling.
-Freeze for at least 1 hour so it holds.
-Melt your chocolate (we used milk chocolate).
-Dip the taco shell in chocolate → quickly sprinkle peanuts (or any topping you love) before the chocolate hardens.
-Optional: Freeze again briefly if you want it extra crisp.

ENJOY! Boom. Homemade Choco Taco without a waffle maker. 🌮🍫🍦

Easy 2-ingredient bread donuts 🕷️spooky edition 🎃

Ingredients:
• ~10 slices of white bread (remove the crusts)
• ¼ cup milk or water — add gradually until you reach a doughy texture
• Optional: 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar (only if using milk — it makes them crispier!)
• Oil for frying (170–185°C / 340–365°F). We used rapeseed oil, but canola or any neutral oil works great.
• Your favorite spooky toppings! 👻

How to Make:
1. Tear your crustless bread into small bits, then slowly pour in milk or water, mixing until it forms a soft dough. (If it’s too wet, add a bit more bread or a sprinkle of flour.)
2. Heat your oil to temperature.
3. Roll the dough into balls, poke holes in the center (your fingers work fine!), and shape them into donuts.
4. Fry for about 3 minutes per side, or until beautifully golden brown. Flip once one side is ready!

Finish with any glaze, sugar, or frosting you love. We went with melted chocolate, white chocolate, and a few fun toppings for that Halloween vibe 😋🎃

All you ever wanted 😍 A Dubai Choco Taco 🍫

How We Made It Possible:

Steam the shell – Steam a waffle cone or shell for 30–60 seconds.
Shape it – Gently shape with your hands into a taco form. Let it rest until it hardens.
Prepare the kataifi – Shred kataifi, then cook in butter over medium-high heat for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
Mix & layer – Combine the kataifi with pistachio cream (recipe below). Spread this into the shell first.
Add ice cream – Fill with pistachio-vanilla ice cream.
Chill – Place the taco in the freezer for 10–15 minutes to set.
Dip & top – Dip in melted chocolate, then quickly add toppings (we used crushed pistachios + leftover pistachio kataifi).
