Fall cooking season is officially here. 🍂

And apparently my kitchen got the memo. 😂 Between chili, soups, casseroles, and all the cozy things, this is the time of year when I start reaching for the kitchen tools that make dinner a little easier.

Be honest...

How many times have you walked right past a fresh pineapple because you didn't want to deal with cutting it?

🙋‍♀️ I know I have.

It's so easy to toss a container of pre-cut pineapple into the cart...until you see the price. You're paying a premium for someone else to do the prep, and sometimes it isn't nearly as sweet as cutting it fresh at home.

That's why I keep my Pineapple Wedger handy.

Instead of avoiding fresh pineapple altogether, I can easily core and slice it in just a few moments. Suddenly, fresh pineapple becomes realistic for weeknight dinners, fruit salads, smoothies, or grilling alongside chicken.

If your kid came to you and said—

“Mom, I want to try soccer”
“I want to try dance”

You wouldn’t say—

“Yeah… I don’t know, you might not be good at that.”

Of course not.

You’d cheer them on.
Encourage them.
Show up for every game, every practice, every little win.

But when it comes to you?

It’s so easy to go straight to—

“What if I fail?”
“I’m not good enough”

And without even realizing it…

They’re watching that too.

So what if they saw something different?

What if they saw you try something new…
Stick with it when it got hard…
Build something that mattered to you

Not perfectly… just courageously.

Because that’s what sticks.

That’s what shapes what they believe is possible.

I’ve seen it in my own home.
