Quality control was up early to make sure our sugar snap pees were good for Bakersville Farmers Market tonight. We got the ‘it’s yummy’ rating.
Peas are limited but we will have more coming soon.

Here is the menu for Bakersville Farmers Market this Friday, June 5th 6PM-9PM. We are ready to roll into the market season with some delicious new flavors. Along with our baked goods we will have eggs, jelly/jam, radishes and sugar snap peas. We hope to see you all there!

So excited for the market to start! We have a great line up of vendors. We plan to bring our jelly/jams, eggs, a little produce and a few baked goods.

Our baked goods selection will be smaller this year. Life is busy and I just don’t have as much time to bake. There is a great selection of baked goods vendors at the market so don’t worry you will have plenty of sweet treats to choose from.

The sugar snap peas we had grow are finally starting to produce. We also filled in the gaps with blue lake green beans. We are hoping to have some produce for the farmers market next week.

The Farmstand will be open this weekend. In addition to our baked goodies, jams, and eggs we will be adding some flowers.

Baked goods are looking like
-brown butter chocolate chip cookies
-banana bread cookies
-double chocolate brownies
-some breads and maybe bagels!

They also fixed the potholes on our road so it’s a much smoother ride now.

We built two more garden beds and the kids and I have been working on getting them ready to plant.
I am also considering experimenting with the area we dug out of and planting my zucchini and squash directly in the pile to save garden space.

We heard some little cries the other day (not from our kids) and today the kids found the kittens. Hoping this will distract them from the dog they keep asking for.
