Everyone got an upgrade over the weekend with more roosting spots! Also working on integrating some new birds in as well. We also have another project in the making.. stay tuned for those updates!

We got our first egg from the new babies!

From left to right. We go large/extra large. These are our standard breed egg layers. They are the ones you see in your egg cartons from us. The middle one is a bantam egg. They are the small/medium eggs. We don’t give these to you because they don’t meet our standard. We want to provide you the most for your money! The far right one is the first one laid by one of the young ones. It is a little bit smaller than a quarter!

We’ve been getting caught up with egg orders and it shouldn’t be much of a wait anymore. Thank you everyone with your patience!

Got the first round tonight!

These are keets, not baby chicks. Keets are baby guineafowl. You might be wondering, “Why did you get baby keets instead of baby chicks?” I wanted something that would protect my chickens from predators. Guineafowl are known for protecting flocks and alerting for predators. These birds can also be “mean” to chickens as adults. Putting them together when they are babies can insure they get along together.

Owner Introduction:

Hi, my name is Leighann Miller! I am the owner/founder of Circle M Eggs. I am excited to provide eggs to you guys! A little information about me is when I was younger I raised and showed chickens at the county fair. Chickens have been a big part of my life and I want to keep expanding that passion. Since I cannot show anymore, I can work on providing eggs for others instead. I have a wonderful significant other in my life that helps me throughout this crazy process too. We have a dog named Slim and he helps “herd” the chickens in at night. Slim is also a cuddler when it comes to watching tv. Who knew a working dog could be a couch potato!
