Contact your Senators now. Here are some points to include from :

“We demand:

•The withdrawal of federal immunity from ICE agents
•The resignation or removal of DHS Secretary Kristi Noem
•The prohibition of federal and local law enforcement cooperation
•A mandate for unmasked agents while on duty to promote transparency and identification”

🧑‍🍳 Latest kitchen challenge: hotel kitchenette. Had to leave the house bc floors were refinished. So so tired of eating out, so made a yummy and satisfying Rotisserie Chicken and Greens Pasta from . Hearty, comforting, and tasty. Garlic cheese bread in a skillet. Green beans in the microwave. Much needed.
Also, is coming along. Starting to see the light. 👏 🙌

👍 Kitchen Reno life update: we’re over it. We made it a good month and a half and now we have bad attitudes. We have spent many hours in close quarters. Our dogs are on our nerves. I am on my own nerves.

It doesn’t help that it’s January and that our government is a sham and a winter storm is heading our way. 🤷‍♀️

But ya know what? Tonight, I made Creamy Coconut Butternut Squash Chicken Soup from in our and it rocked. It’s cozy, nutritious, hearty, and I enjoyed cooking it. Highly recommend, and if I can cook it in the bedroom, you can totally cook it in a real kitchen!

Last pic is my makeshift living room end table detritus…(and although I look forward to my finished kitchen and am grateful for the opportunity), it represents me at this present time aka a yikes emoji = 😬.

How are y’all doing today and have you ever cooked a curry in a bedroom and did you regret it later? Asking for a friend. 😳

Beignets at the new brunch place — Let’s Talk Brunch on Greenville St! And the Gouda grits, lawd have mercy they were goodt. They have so many more exciting options than my basic order lol — Lots of seafood, oxtail, chicken and waffles, huge menu.
