We are excited about our Halloween Obstacle Trail Challenge ! 🎃🐴

We will be having High Point Awards given to each age group ! And the overall high point winner! You must show in the in hand class and the trail challenge class to receive any high point awards!

The Stars and Stripes Drill Team will be performing at 11! 🇺🇸

We will be having concessions sold by the Britches & Boots 4H club.

Vendors are welcome and we do not have a vending fee so if you have a small business and would like to promote that business then this would be a great opportunity! Please contact Bailey Troutman for vending info ! So far the vendors we have are:

K&L Sweetcakes will be launching her brand new cake pop cart !

Design4U will be there with some lovely horsey items ! 🐴

Susan Wendt is bringing her Bemer Blanket for any horses who may need a session or will be ready to schedule any future sessions !
Susan is also going to be promoting YEDA which is a great youth association!
And she will also be there to talk about Cowboys for Christ!

And we have Little Barn Farm joining us, and they will be bringing some yummy homemade treats !

Lisa Phillips will be there to promote Farmers Cooperative Association, Inc. and Diamond Point Hay and Feed Supply LLC!

This week is for trying out new recipes, getting my cart set up, and making sure I have all the I's dotted and T's crossed! It’s been a lot of not-so-warm-and-friendly people on the other end of these calls, but it’s all in God’s timing! Got to connect with a great friend from our kids track days, so glad, who knew 🙌🏽

Now all that’s left is for my taste testers to come pick theirs up! I can’t wait to hear what they think. ❤️

🙌🏽 Wellllll… we’re stepping out on faith again! 💕

Honestly… it’s the only way I know how to do it.

If you know me, you know I love dreaming BIG! 💕

Many of you have watched me build LaDawn Hodges Photography over the last 20 years. Thank you for believing in that dream, trusting me to capture your precious memories, and supporting my family every step of the way.

Now… I’m inviting you to be part of another dream.

Lately, I’ve become completely obsessed with these adorable porch bakery carts. Watching so many small businesses step out on faith has been incredibly inspiring, and I can’t stop thinking about bringing something sweet to our little corner of Newport News.

So… here we go! 🍰

This week is all about planning, prepping, shopping, decorating, and getting everything ready. My cart is scheduled to arrive on Friday (cue the happy dance! 💃🏽), and if everything comes together as planned, we’re excited to have our Soft Opening on August 1st! 🙌🏽

I can’t promise perfection, but I can promise that everything will be made with love, lots of prayer, and the same passion that’s gone into every dream I’ve ever pursued.
