🏃 Junior Olympics Update ❤️

Today mom got a video from Coach, and our mama couldn’t stop smiling.

Mekhi jumped a 12’2” and 9’5” at Drake Stadium on the campus where the AAU Junior Olympics are being held.

Coach reminded us that jumping that distance on a college facility, after only starting track in June, is something to be proud of.

Did we get every result we hoped for?

Not this time.

And that’s okay.

Because this week wasn’t just about medals.

It was about courage.

Growth.

New experiences.

New friendships.

Confidence.

And discovering what she’s capable of.

We’re incredibly proud of you, sweet girl.

The journey is just getting started. ❤️🏃🏽‍♀️
