This is a normal afternoon at Boney Ln. Farms in St. James, New York.

Our chickens roam outside on grass, under trees, in the open air—doing what chickens naturally do: scratching, exploring, and foraging.

No cages.

Ours are reserved before they exist.

Why? Because this isn’t mass production.
This is land-based, low-intervention poultry raised intentionally.

Our birds live with:

• No confinement fencing

In 5–6 months, these 50 future laying hens will join our flock — raised slowly, carefully, and held to standards that go well beyond organic. Clean feed. Fresh air. No routine medications. Hands-on daily care.

We don’t overproduce.
We don’t wholesale.
Our eggs are spoken for before they’re ever laid.

When these girls begin laying, their production will allow us to release approximately 15–18 new weekly egg subscriptions — and that will be the only expansion from this hatch.
