Dave likes to travel, so “Have Parelli, will Travel” anywhere!
With over 30 years of experience, he has won in Cowboy Dressage and Ranch Versatility and has competed in Working Cow Horse. He has a small ranch in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of California with his wife, Jody Grimm, a Parelli Finesse Specialist. They work with young horses, difficult horses, cattle, and Parelli students that come by to ride with them.

We have just a couple of spots left in our October and November "Petals" Program, which is an inclusive unmounted horsemanship program for kids ages 6-10!

This program offers an opportunity for kids to learn all about horses in a safe and fun environment. Participants will gain hands-on experience in horse and barn care including grooming, feeding, paddock/stall cleaning and more. This is the perfect opportunity for kids to spend time outdoors and with horses. Group size is limited to 6.

Offered Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm, $350/month (this is a discounted rate for October and November to reflect the reduced number of weeks).

The October group will run October 14, 21 and 28.
The November group will run November 4, 11, and 18 (no group on 11/24 due to Thanksgiving).

Yesterday was a beautiful day. Horseneck Beach was a little cold but it didn't stop Chris on Captain and Casey on Bolero from enjoying a great ride on the beach. Prior proper preparation allowed the horses to become comfortable before they mounted . Gotta love natural horsemanship!!

Our Very own Chris Tobin will be riding in the Cambridge parade as Paul Revere! Three Cheers for Chris. Today he finished the shed we started in the fall, weather never cooperated on weekends, and tomorrow he takes a break to ride in a parade to Commemorate Memorial Day.

Memorial Day weekend is here! Come see us Sunday in Newton's Parade, Monday in Watertown or be on the look out for Paul Revere & William Dawes as they kick off the parade in Cambridge! Check out our website for details.

This Horse is Kali, our dear friend Lisa Sinnigan's horse who had to be rescued from a Medical incident that occurred. I wonder if our Fire and Rescue has a sling like this for large animals? I know that a group of friends in Sherborn donated a Equine Rescue board to the Sherborn Fire Dept a few year ago. I think I will look into this, there are so many murkey areas and ponds where these wonderful animals can get into trouble so quickly. Heck, not even a pond, this horse was in the barn, another friend I know needed jaws of life to get her horses hoof out of the bars in the stall. Something we should all think about concerning our animals. What will you do in an emergency?

Great job by all the Westhampton Fire Department volunteers assisting with a downed horse that needed assistance. Incredible group of Firefighters that provide all-hazard services to the community. So proud of all of them!

Baby it's cold outside!!!! ONE MORE OPENING!! 80x200 indoor riding arena with sky lights and new footing, full board including all those blanket changes, continuous turnout with awesome new sheds, delicious hay, heated tack room, wonderful tacking areas, almost a mile long groomed track around the property and trails usable throughout the winter, new kitchen, AND 4 lessons per month with our 3 Star Parelli trainer. Equine Solutions

A great illustration of how a horse is knocked off balance by using the inside rein to turn/bend. The right is correct, as the horse is turning with both shoulders, the left horse has been knocked over his outside shoulder, and will fight for his balance beneath the rider by allowing his haunches to fall in.
