LABOR DAY WEEKEND IS HERE. 🇺🇸☀️🥚

Which means half of Oklahoma is headed to the lake…

…and the other half is trying not to melt before they get there.

The coolers are packed.
The grills are ready.
The sunscreen is working overtime.
And somehow, our hens are still cranking out eggs in this ridiculous Oklahoma heat.

If your weekend plans include breakfast at the lake, deviled eggs, potato salad, or feeding a crowd before everybody disappears onto the water…

Current Oklahoma forecast: Hot with wind; we have an air fryer. ☀️🥚

The hens are panting.
The people are panting.
The yard looks offended.

At this point, we’re just trying to gather eggs before they come out fried, scrambled, or already hard-boiled.

Somehow, the girls are still out there doing their jobs under absolutely unreasonable working conditions.

Farm-fresh eggs available.
