Grass + Cows = The Best Milk

It's a lot of work right now, moving the cows through the fields. Mostly because we're redoing a lot of electric fence and redesigning pastures. But all the work is worth it, even if it's just to appreciate the unrivaled views of our farm.

We milk once a day, so the cows are able to spend most of their time grazing and enjoying being cows!

We're getting over 20 gallons of milk a day, so after 3 days the bulk tank gets a bit full 😅

Rita's been making cheese, separating milk for butter, sour cream and ghee. And then we still have leftovers for the pigs.

We look forward to sharing the milk from our grass-fed cows with you through our herdshare program!
