What’s Cookin’
It’s all in the details, so I’ve been told.
Well, this one isn’t exactly a detail, and most people never see this part.
They see the finished dessert, but not the pieces that come before it.
This is a fresh baked graham cracker slab cooling on my counter.
Soon it’ll become crumb for another recipe.
Sometimes for magic bars.
Sometimes for a cheesecake crust.
Sometimes it gets cut into graham crackers and enjoyed exactly as it is.
One recipe can become so many different things.
And honestly, that’s one of the things I enjoy most about baking from scratch.
Some of the best parts happen behind the scenes.
And yes, I absolutely sneak a piece while it’s still warm 🤍
