One last outdoor Saturday at the Canton Farmers Market! 🤍

It’s a crisp one, but I’ve got plenty of Sifted goodness ready to go! 🍂

Coffee Cake, Brownies, Lemon Bars, seasonal Mini Loaves, cookies, Cheese Crackers, and more are at the table.

And since it’s National Pasta Day, I couldn’t let the occasion pass without a little something extra! 🍝

Along with all the pasta preorders, I’ll have TWO containers of fresh Rigatoni, approximately ⅔ lb each, available on a first come, first served basis! It’s in the ice chest, so just ask!

Why This Matters 🤍

There’s something I’ve come to look forward to every Saturday at the Canton Farmers Market, and it isn’t just setting up a table full of Sifted goodies.

It’s seeing the familiar faces.

The people who stop by week after week, the conversations about their favorites, and the excitement of seeing someone return for something they loved.

Somewhere along the way, those Saturday mornings became about a whole lot more than selling gluten free food.

With our final outdoor market coming up this Saturday, I’ve been thinking about just how much I’ve enjoyed getting to know the people who have made Sifted part of their weekly routine.

And I have to say, I’m going to miss those weekly visits. 🤍

Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye. Just a change in our Saturday routine.

I'm so excited to share that starting tomorrow, you'll be able to find some Sifted favorites at Vagabond Coffeehouse & Catering!

We're kicking things off with Fudgy Brownies, Magic Bars, and Oatmeal Cookies — all handcrafted in the dedicated gluten free Sifted kitchen.

I love getting to bring Sifted to new places and introduce a little more gluten free goodness to the community.

What’s Cookin’

Hello, my old friend. 🥖

I’ve never really been a big bread person. Sure, I ate it, but it was never the part of the meal I looked forward to. That didn't change going gluten free.

And then I stumbled across this gem.

Suddenly, bread was a whole different story. 😂

Fresh from the oven, still warm, and smothered in butter. Sliced just to your liking for sandwiches. Made into smaller loaves for bread bowls.

Turns out, I wasn’t necessarily a bread person…I just hadn’t met the right bread yet.

It’s been a few months since I’ve made this old favorite, and I think I may have worked out one of its little quirks today!

Funny how even your tried-and-true recipes can still teach you something. 🤍

Why This Matters

I don’t think Sifted was ever supposed to be a finished idea.

There are recipes I make over and over again, and others that start with a simple, “I wonder if I could…”

Sometimes they become something I offer. Sometimes they lead somewhere completely different. And sometimes I simply learn something and move on.

But giving myself room to keep learning, experimenting and getting better has become a really important part of what Sifted is.

I never want “this is how I’ve always done it” to be the reason I stop asking if something could be better. 🤍
