from our neighbor, during this 🙌. S/o to everyone cultivating real change. “This is my compost bucket.

While Blue Origin just spent millions to send celebrities and billionaires’ friends on an 11-minute joyride to nowhere, my compost bucket is actually doing something for the planet. No research, no science, no lasting impact—just a quick trip above the Kármán line for a photo op and a round of applause.

Meanwhile, my compost supports Neighborhood Compost, a woman-owned local business, and helps reduce waste in my community. It’s not flashy, but it’s real action with real results.

Let’s stop glorifying space tourism stunts and start celebrating the everyday science and grassroots efforts that actually move us forward.

What are you doing today to create real change?”
