We would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any misconceptions, that we carry "local" meat. We have NEVER advertised as carrying local meat. We are not a slaughter house and we do not raise our own beef, pork and chicken. However, we do buy from reliable sources. Occasionally we have some of our own frozen beef, available and we're hoping to get in some local fresh chicken, but the majority is not local. What we HAVE advertised is, our variety, selection and our biggest asset; Bill Carbee, our meat cutter. Bill has been cutting meat for 50 years and can cut pretty much whatever you want. What we wanted to offer, is a place where you could go and get a small town feel, with a personal touch, from people you know.

Again, we do apologize that many of you thought our products were local. We ARE owned by a local family and employ local people. We have made every effort, to not give the impression that we sell local products. It breaks our heart to see & hear people say that we've been misleading, as that was never our intention. There are several local options, that we support and would be happy to direct you to, if you should ask.
