This is big: MAGA influencer Evan Kilgore says he is “done with the GOP” after Donald Trump used the presidency to give a stunning “Complete and Total Endorsement” in a foreign election.
The candidate was Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump signed the letter, “Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America,” then told voters exactly who he believed they should elect.
“Bibi Netanyahu has been a Great Warrior Prime Minister,” Trump wrote, calling him a “Partner for Peace.” He warned that if voters chose “the wrong Leader, which would be anyone other than Bibi,” America would have to do the work “ourselves.”
Trump also wrote that the United States was “demanding” this kind of partner.
Kilgore’s reaction came from inside MAGA. He did not respond to a Democratic attack ad or a criticism from the media.
He quoted Trump’s own letter, watched the American president formally campaign for Netanyahu, and said he was “done with the GOP.”
His fellow MAGA influencers should hear his words.
