Herd sire seeking a performance herd.
Love Acres LSP Aldous Huxley is a 2 year old buck with a powerful pedigree. His dam, an ADGA Elite doe, has 2 lactations over 4,000lb. Her dam had 3 lactations over 4,000 lb and was a 4x Lamancha breed leader. His sire, Pinnacle, the son of the esteemed SGCH Quixote Kate’s Kareem ++*B needs little introduction. Huxley himself is developing into a smoothly blended, angular and deep bodied boy. On top of all that, he is a sweet soul who is easily managed. We are taking a break from breeding, otherwise he would definitely stay here. We feel Huxley needs a herd that will further his potential. Located in Northern California near Placerville.

Love Acres SP Eleanor Rigby (3/17/2013 - 12/16/2024)

This dam and daughter pair were the last vestiges of my original breeding program. I began fifteen years ago with the Nigerian Dwarf breed.

Harriet was one of my first finished champions. She was a quiet, constant presence in my herd and did not allow the full sized does to boss her around. She smelled like alfalfa and sunshine.

Eleanor was Harriet’s first kidding. The runt of quints, she grew into a beautiful doe competitive in the show ring.

Harriet and Eleanor were rarely apart in their long lives. It gives me comfort to know they will always be together. 💙💙

Better late than never....we are proud to announce Love Acres Amarillo by Morning made the recent ADGA Elite doe list. Amarillo is about to complete her second lactation over 4000lb as she continues her dam's legacy. SGCH Love Acres Copperfield Ember logged 3 lactations over 4000 lb and was on the ADGA Breed Leaders list 4 times. Congrats to our fellow Elite breeders!
