The girls DID IT!!! I did a down n dirty walkaway split early May. I checked them mid May. There was no sign of a queen. I fed them sugar syrup, granular pollen, pollen patty, Hive Alive in the syrup AND... WAITED. THEY DID IT!!!! LOOK AT THESE BABIES!!!!

Did a walkaway split Monday and mite treatment. Both deeps were this full and had about 4 capped queen cells each. I have never seen the queen in this hive. I paid for her to be marked but have never seen her. Obviously she is there and a prolific layer. 🤞 They both explode with health and honey!!!

Brownie, our male breeder went to school today. He helped to teach the kindergarten class about rabbits. This was his 2nd year joining them and our farms 3rd or 4th year visiting the school. They learn about turkeys too so maybe Gray can join them 2x next school year???
