I have too many piglets and need to relocate a few.

Mom and dad are both Yorkshires with a touch of Berkshire and Hampshire somewhere in their bloodline.

They are fast growing and we generally raise them up for 6-7 months to reach processing weight.

The piglets are all intact males. However, we can castrate upon request for those who prefer to raise barrows. If you want to have a solid boar for breeding…these guys would be good for that. Their parents are both strong, healthy hogs.

🌿 Help Us Build the Next Chapter at The Urban Roost 🌿

Over the past few years, we’ve watched this little farm grow from a dream into something that serves our community in ways we never imagined.

What started with a handful of animals and a passion for living close to the land has grown into a place where people can learn, connect with agriculture, and experience a slower, more intentional way of life.

Now we’re working toward the next chapter.

Our vision is to create a farm that welcomes families, homeschool groups, and school field trips while participating in South Carolina Agritourism events. We want The Urban Roost to be a place where children can experience farm life firsthand, where visitors can reconnect with the land, and where our community can learn about gardening, livestock, herbs, and sustainable living together.

To make that possible, we’re investing in some important infrastructure, including:

🌱 A high tunnel for a year-round market garden
🏡 A small farm store and apothecary where customers can pick up products made right here on the farm
🐐 Permanent fencing and water lines to better care for our livestock
🌾 Additional improvements that will help us safely welcome visitors and educational groups
