We don't have a big lawnmower yet and it is too wet for that at the moment anyway.
So we have deployed the cattle to the front yard to mow it for us.
Using the waste (excess lawn) in one system as the input (cow feed) for another... classic Permaculture.

The flooring job was put on pause when we realized that the sliding door in the one room had leaked over time and rotted out the flooring near it.
We are so thankful that the previous owners had a spare sliding door of the exact same size and that our friend Jeffrey happened to be visiting and knew how to do this stuff, so he could help us rip out the door and flooring and replace both.
Praise God, when we were out of our depth He sent help.
