Each week we will re-introduce you to one member of the MPEVS team and share some fun facts.
This week's "Meet the Team" member is Dr. Jess Martin. Here is Dr. Martin riding Bonnie, a 6 year old Quarter Horse, at Willow Brook Farms’s NRHA - National Reining Horse Association competition. Dr. Martin is looking forward to cow horse competitions in the future with her young prospect Quarter Horse, Nate!
Me and my son took a camping trip this weekend to Jim Thorpe. After doing a horseback trail ride we were told there was a rodeo show. We have never been to one so decided to check it out. We had a great time! Lots vendors were there and the show was lots of fun. Only downside.....now my son wants a horse and a cowboy hat for his birthday so he can ride it to school 😅
Had a great time at the Rodeo but did not realize there were no bleachers to sit on. Take your chairs. A suggestion to have traffic control to help get every one out. They have someone to park you on the way in but not when the event is over. I give the Rodeo a 5 star just need to work on the other things. Maybe post on your site to bring chairs.

Here at Lehigh Valley Dressage Association, we recognize the importance of giving back to the communities in which we live, even more so during these difficult times. This year, LVDA will be selecting organizations to support at each of our shows. We will publish the organizations wish list and for every item that you donate from the list, you will receive an entry in our raffle item for the day. At the end of the show, we will select a winner! It's a win-win! Community organizations receive some much needed support and you get chances to win an awesome prize!
For our January 31st show of the LVDA Winter Dressage Schooling Show Series, please join us in supporting Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative which aims to alleviate food insecurity in the Whitehall-Coplay area and serves hundreds of families. See the photos attached to this post or their website (
