We welcomed 69 students from Flatwoods Elementary School and Faucett-Vestavia Elementary School for a fun-filled day of hands-on agricultural experiences. Students learned about livestock, sustainable gardening, cross-pollinating with butterflies and honeybees, explored the corn maze, helped pick peppers in the vegetable garden, and even made homemade butter! πŸπŸ¦‹πŸ«‘

The learning didn’t stop at the farm! After returning to school, students enjoyed fresh squash casserole, honey butter made with honey from the farm, and fresh cucumbers. What a delicious way to connect farm-to-table learning! 🌱🍯πŸ₯’

Thank you to everyone who helped make this summer learning experience so special!
