Todd takes early morning shift, I take the late night. You never know who’s gonna find a fresh calf. Todd was the lucky winner with another one the ground early this morning! 🫐 God is good! 🙌

These are the cattle facts!!! Quit listening to propaganda from the beef packers who are squeezing the American beef producers!!! Amber Nuttycomb

America’s ranchers are facing record-high input costs—from feed to fuel and labor—yet beef remains a great value for families. The price of a pound of ground beef still equals about 12 minutes of work for the average American, unchanged since the 1980s.

Meanwhile, our national cow herd is at a 75-year low, and many family ranches are struggling as costs climb and fewer young producers enter the profession. Despite these challenges, beef remains an affordable, nutrient-dense choice compared to other daily purchases.

Stay away from the beef, unless labeling USA beef is a priority!😡

Lowering Beef Prices with More Imports? That’s Not the Solution.

The real problem runs deeper. For decades, failed trade policies have allowed cheap, undifferentiated foreign beef to replace U.S. cattle and beef, driving hundreds of thousands of ranchers out of business and shrinking our nation’s cow herd to the smallest it’s been in decades.

Meanwhile, global beef packers and retailers have gained monopolistic control, pocketing record profits exploiting both cattle producers and beef consumers in the broken market.

Inviting even more imports will only accelerate the collapse of America’s cattle industry and increase our dependence on foreign supply chains.

If we want fair prices for both producers and consumers, we must:
✅ Restore competition and transparency in the marketplace by enforcing our antitrust laws and the Packers and Stockyards Act
✅ Reinstate Country of Origin Labeling to differentiate American beef in the marketplace
✅ Rebuild our domestic herd and food security
