Well that was a whirlwind weekend of kidding, and its going to be a long week. Things tentatively all look stable right now. Got home with Pie and her baby, and a few hours later Reggie finally went in to labor. The first kind was upside down, but a nice buckling. Very loud. He has *opinions*. His sister was hocks and tail first and took some rearranging but came out absolutely adorable. We had seen 3 on the ultrasound but when I went back in I just felt placenta/cotolydons etc. Get stuff cleaned up etc, 20 minutes later shes pushing too hard for just placenta. Went back in and tangled up in the placenta was this tiny tot of a doe. Shes got a full belly of warm colostrum, and Pie's girl as a buddy. The other are staying with reggie for the night.

Pie and her baby "Pumpkin Pie" (the vets named her and its just too cute) have been picked up and are on the way home for recovery! The baby is good size but not overly large, Pie just did not dilate properly.

Well Pie decided she needed the most expensive kidding stall and is spending the night as OSU. It was determined she is just progressing incredibly slowly but the baby's heart rate was just fine and not in distress so giving her more time. They did x-ray and confirm it is a very large single so theres still a chance she ends up needing a c section.

BeeDee reluctantly released her hostage middle of the night last night. She did not want to push that big head out and required some pulling but we have a big healthy buckling. Hes absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I was hoping for in the cross. Will have to repeat it to try for a doeling

Still waiting...Reggie is on day 151, pie 150, beedee 149. Pie and BeeDee were given meds to induce labor so we *should*have babies by this evening. They each ultrasounded with singles so I am concerned about large babies. Reggie has multiples so I am less concerned and more just impatient lol

Most of my girls dont take treats or snacks of any kind (so weirdly picky!) But apparently I found out BeeDee's snack of choice!

Well apparently Ido is sooooo sexy, Jewel just needed to have that man. She broke through a corner of the pen (first time i have ever had that happen) to join his little love pad. She is 10 and I had planned on her retiring after this year ls litter. Will have to decide what to do if she takes (Ido is also old and we are not sure if he will settle anyone but he certainly made a heroic effort with Jewel)

Ido is an older boy so hes getting penned with 2 does for the month hoping he can get them settled, I looove this buck and his daughters are all absolutely gorgeous. Hes got quite the fan club here lol
