They got tangled in the bird netting that was under my grow out pen.

Bella (NZ Doe) was headed to freezer camp. Previous litters were only 2 or 3 kits. Most recently she gave birth to 9 kits!
She has earned her keep!

Jane, NZ rabbit, gave us 7 new bunnies this morning 🐰 she pulls fur and makes her nest at the last minute but she is a great Mom. 😁

My Kune’s won’t eat hay😩 I have tried different types of hay but they don’t like it. I’ve read that some Kune Kune pigs grow to eat it but it is something they become accustomed to more like a learned trait. My babies are in pens, the girls share their area with the chickens and peacocks. So I have been foraging for them, they really like the new grass and clover as well as the dead nettle so I gather it by the bucket full.
Not a huge task for me because I have always foraged for the rabbits, now I just have bigger buckets😁
