📣🔥 We are cheering on the Iola Underhogs Competition BBQ Team, Limp Brizkit, as they head to Dallas, Texas to compete in the National High School BBQ Association Championship this Tuesday at Scheels!

We couldn't be more proud of these young pitmasters. Seeing the future of our sport out there competing on the big stage, putting in the hard work, and representing the next generation of BBQ is incredibly inspiring.

The dedication, passion, and talent these kids bring to the pit is exactly what keeps our BBQ community strong. We're honored to watch them chase their dreams and showcase their skills on a national level.

What a weekend in Huron!

We had an absolute blast at the SD BBQ Championships!! Somewhere along the way, one of us (Ashton unbeknownst to Josh 🤣) signed us up for the People's Choice/Backyard Judged portion on Saturday, and we're so glad they did! We were provided brisket, pork, turkey, and lamb, then got to prepare it our way. After our regular KCBS turn-ins, we turned in our backyard entries and then jumped right into serving the public. It was a busy day, but we had so much fun!

Our extra effort paid off at awards:
🥉 3rd Place People's Choice Brisket
🥇 1st Place People's Choice Lamb (South Dakota chislic seasoned with our Cattle Rustler!)
🥉 3rd Place Judged Pork
🥈 2nd Place Judged Lamb
🥇 1st Place Judged Brisket

Then it was time for KCBS awards, and we were excited to hear our name called for:

🔟 10th Place Chicken

Back in South Dakota and it still feels like home 🇺🇸🔥

We're in Huron for the SD BBQ Championships and couldn't be happier to be cooking in our home state again. Last night was all about catching up with our northern BBQ family, sharing stories, laughs, and a few cold ones before the real work began.

What better way to celebrate than firing up the pits for our very first Rib Cook-Off Association contest! To make things even more interesting, we're going head-to-head in the backyard battle of the Bandits. 💪🏽🍖

🔥 The future of BBQ is HERE 🔥

At the Kansas High School BBQ Association State Tournament in Wichita this past weekend, an Iola, KS team-Limp Brizket lead by Coach Doug Kerr- used O.G. Bandits rubs & sauces exclusively and brought home:

🥈 2nd Place Ribs
🥉 3rd Place Overall

AND it was a first tournament for three of them 🤯

This is why we do what we do....seeing these kids and future of our sport fall in love with it and be successful is better than any trophy we can get. So proud to be a small part of their journey 👊🔥

We’re back from the ND BBQ Championship in Fargo, ND!!! 🔥

We signed up for this one last year but had to pull out, so we were EXTRA excited to finally make the trip...and man, it did not disappoint! 75 incredible teams and so many of our northern friends… it was so good to see everyone again! ❤️
Friday night we jumped into the one-meat rib burn and pulled off a 5th place 🐖🔥
AND snagged another 5th place in dessert! 🍰🙌
Saturday we ran light, took all cans and left the ABS at home for the sake of weight and diesel prices 😅 We felt really good about our cook… but man, chicken and ribs did NOT love us this weekend 🤣 (not pointing fingers at certain tables… but we’d turn those in ANY day… maybe just not that far north 😉)

That landed us 18th overall out of 75 teams and we’ll take it! Not mad about it at all 💪
