Hey y’all, come on in here…
Crockpot Red Beans & Rice

Ingredients:
1 lb of red beans (I prefer Camellia brand, pictured below)
(1 onion, 1 bell pepper, 3 stalks of celery and chopped garlic)
1 package Cajun style smoked sausage (I prefer Conecuh brand)
1 32ounce chicken broth
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp smoked paparika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 teaspoon your favorite Cajun seasoning
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt & pepper
2 Bay leaves (optional)

Put beans in large pot filled with water and soak overnight. Rinse and drain well. Pour them into crockpot. Slice your sausage and brown with Holy Trinity. Add a little water to your skillet and stir to deglaze. Pour all of that over red beans. Cover with chicken broth. Cook on high for 4 hours and low for another 6. Serve with cornbread or garlic bread, your choice. Enjoy!
