This week we're eagerly waiting for Ready's final litter to arrive. She is due any day now, and we can't wait to meet her puppies.
This will be Ready's last litter before she retires from our breeding program and is spayed. She has been an incredible mama, and she has more than earned a life of simply being a dog.
Depending on how things unfold over the next couple of months, we may consider placing her in the right forever home. This isn't a decision we'll make lightly, and we haven't committed to anything yet.
If she does become available, she would thrive in a home with plenty of room to run, another dog to keep her company, and people who understand and appreciate the Australian Shepherd breed. A farm or acreage would be ideal.
We aren't done breeding just yet! We also have another litter expected in mid-August, so there will be more puppy updates coming soon. 🐾
For now, we're focused on helping Ready through a healthy delivery and soaking up these last puppy days with one amazing mama. ❤️
