SW Marion County - These two giant baskets full of hand-crafted items will be door prizes at the SummerGlen Holiday Craft Fair, Sat., Nov. 4, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. You need not be present to win but will need to pick it. Over 50 tables of hand-crafted items. Also, huge bake sale. The Cook Together team is making baklava again, plus woopie pies, fudge, cakes, pie, bread, and much more. The Cook Together club will be debuting its new cookbook, Let's Cook Together. There will also be a mini farmer's market in the parking lot with produce, seafood and plants for the gardener. SummerGlen Holiday Craft Fair
Saturday, November 4
9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Some unique crafters will be at SummerGlen’s craft fair. You will see a sister duo who create faux food art and candles that look so real you’ll want to eat them all (but don’t), and they look beautiful under hand crafted pedestal domes (pictured).

There will be a soap maker whose soaps look like works of art. You will find both cooling towels and golf towels that make great stocking stuffers for the sports enthusiast in the family.

If you want to give a beautifully sewn handbag to a special woman in your life, you will find it at SummerGlen. We have two crafters who make the most beautiful bags and clutches.

If you want to decorate your front door and entrance for the holidays, there will be swags, wreaths and wood signs aplenty for that finishing touch. And for the holiday table, beautiful centerpieces, candles and displays are in order. There will be oil and watercolor paintings with a local flair.

New this year will be a mini farmers market in the parking lot featuring produce, seafood and plants.

Over 50 tables will be on display. Two (2) very large baskets full of hand-crafted items and other goodies will be given as a door prizes and you do not need to be present to win! IT IS ALMOST SOLD OUT. Crafts must be handmade, and the maker of the crafts must be present at the fair. This is an indoor fair and tables will be $40 for one 6 ft. table and $75 for two tables. Applications and information sheets are available by emailing the Craft Fair Chairperson, Jeri Ballantyne, at [email protected]. Please indicate what your craft is and attach a picture of your craft for consideration. Submission deadline is July 28.
