Our Story
Tools Camp was started by two mothers who wanted to instill curiosity and problem solving in their children. Eurydice Rorick and Alissa Bushnell set out to inspire the next generation of thinkers by providing hands-on activities and projects that help kids explore the world around them.
At Tools Camp we will learn about tools from the past, the present and the future; everything from a Native American grinding stone to soldering irons and electrical wiring. We work with pulleys, levers, hammers, screwdrivers, soldering irons, braiding reeds, building tee pees, exploring the 100 acres of Mt. Wolf Ranch, and so much more. We also make our own tools and explore science and other hands-on activities. We will explore electricity, wood working, naturalism, velocity, force, and various art mediums. We will dig, build, explore, cook, hike, play, create, and laugh.
