Celebrate 50 years of tradition at the Ocean Township Italian Festival!

From August 5–9, Joe Palaia Park in Oakhurst comes alive with delicious food, live entertainment, rides, & fun for the whole family.

Highlights include:
• Wednesday: Discount Ride Night
• Sunday: FREE concert featuring the Moroccan Sheepherders from 6–9 p.m.

Festival Hours:
• Aug. 5–8: 5–11 p.m.
• Aug. 9: 4–10 p.m.

Today at our meeting, we welcomed speaker Ed Levine. He is a retired NOAA Scientific Support Coordinator and advisor to the US Coast Guard. Ed presented his initiative to establish a suitable memorial marker for the unidentified victims of the SS Morro Castle disaster, who are interred in Mount Prospect Cemetery in Neptune.
