Sometimes the best plans are the ones you didn't make.

Take the country road home, roll the windows down, and make one last stop before heading back. The shelves are stocked with fresh-from-the-oven favorites, the stand is full, and there's something special waiting for you.

Today's menu includes:

🤎 Ooey-gooey cinnamon rolls
🫐 Blueberry Crumble & Chocolate Chip muffins
🍓 Strawberry Rhubarb bars

🥞 Sourdough pancake mix
🍓 Homemade jams & jellies

🌱 We also have **fresh-picked organic rhubarb**, harvested and ready for your next pie, crisp, or favorite summer recipe.

Open until **6 PM** or until we're sold out (honestly, we'll probably sell out sooner).

Some baked goods are just plain cheerful.

These heart cookies from Three Little Munchkins are the kind of thing that feels like it belongs in a little white box, carried home with flowers and maybe a few garden vegetables rolling around in the seat beside it.

When the stand opens, baked goods will be available in small batches and will change depending on the week.
We’ll post what’s out as often as we can, so you’ll know when something sweet is waiting at the roadside.

This is the part of summer that always feels like a small reward.

A paper bag full of stems. Zinnias showing off. Cosmos spilling over the side. The smell of green leaves and flowers that were just outside a little while ago.

When the stand opens, there will be seasonal flowers as they’re ready, gathered with that simple hope of sending a little beauty back out into the world.

For your kitchen table.
For a friend who’s had a long week.
For your mom, your neighbor, your sister.
For no reason at all except that it’s summer, and you’re glad they’re in your life.

Nothing too fussy. Just color, season, and a sweet little reason to slow down on the way home.

This is the kind of photo you can almost smell.

Warm crust. A little crackle as it cools. That first slice that never makes it to the cutting board cleanly.

Freshly baked sourdough breads from Three Little Munchkins Bakery will be part of the stand this season in limited batches, tucked in alongside the flowers, vegetables, and other good things coming from the garden.

We’re still just a bit of a ways out, but this is one of the pieces we’re most excited to share.

Good bread. Country road. Small stand. Simple as that.

Some places don’t need much to feel like summer.

A fence line. Daisies in the grass. Birds singing. The sky turning that soft Wisconsin blue before evening rolls in.

That’s the feeling we’re hoping to bring to Silver Maple farmstand - a simple country stop with flowers, baked goods, garden vegetables, and whatever the week has been generous enough to give.

A place to pull in for a minute, pick up something small, and head home with a little more summer magic in hand.

A little garden, a little bakery.

These rose-topped cupcakes from Three Little Munchkins feel just right for Silver Maple Farmstand - soft pink frosting, simple vanilla cake, and the kind of treat you bring home “for later” but somehow sample before dinner.

Baked goods will be part of the stand this season, offered in small batches as they’re available.

Some days sweet. Some days simple. Always worth checking back.

Tomato season always asks us to be patient.
First the leaves get big. Then the vines take over. Then come these pale green little promises, hanging there like they know exactly what we’re waiting for.

Eventually, if the sun does its part, there will be tomatoes at the stand — the kind that belong on toast, in BLTs, sliced over the sink, or eaten with salt while dinner is still being figured out.

For now, we’re watching and waiting.

The quiet work before the oven does its part.

Little stamped cookies lined up on parchment, waiting their turn. Butter, flour, a little patience, and hands that know what they’re doing.

My sister’s bakery, Three Little Munchkins, will be bringing baked goods to Silver Maple Farmstand this season - small batches, made with care, and changing as the weeks go by.

We love the idea of flowers from the garden, bread from the oven, and something sweet waiting at the roadside.

A tiny beginning for one of the cheeriest flowers in the garden.

These are nasturtium seeds - a little humble-looking now, but eventually they’ll turn into bright, trailing blooms in shades of orange, yellow, and red.

They’re the kind of flower that makes a garden feel a little more old-fashioned. A little more cottage-y. A little more like summer is spilling over the edges.

We're planting these seeds that were saved from flowers last summer, with hopes that some of these beauties will make their way into the stand later in the season.

Slowly but surely, Silver Maple farmstand is beginning before it ever opens. 🌱

There’s something about a carton of backyard eggs that just feels like home.

Soft browns, pale blues, little speckles — each one a bit different from the next.

As Silver Maple farmstand grows, we’ll be sharing the simple things of the season: garden vegetables, flowers, baked goods, preserves, and a few everyday country comforts when we have them.

The stand won’t look exactly the same every day, and that’s part of what we love about it.
