Sometimes farm animals just make you smile. 🐑😂

This little ram lamb hasn't quite figured out how to reach the feeder yet… so he came up with his own solution — just climb right in.

Caught him enjoying breakfast during morning chores as the sun was coming up. 🌅

Who needs to be taller when you can just get creative?

Never a dull moment around the farm.

The farm is looking to rehome 2 of our drake ducks. Unfortunately, we have 2 too many.

We have 2 magpies and 1 pekin.

Message if interested.

Thanks!

🐓 They’re Back! 🐓

Our pasture-raised whole chickens are back in stock and ready for your table.

Raised on pasture, moved to fresh grass daily, and USDA processed, these birds weigh 5-7pounds each—perfect for family dinners, meal prep, soups, and leftovers.

We believe you’ll see and taste the difference that comes from chickens raised with fresh air, sunshine, and care—not confinement.

Stock your freezer now before they’re gone again. These tend to sell out quickly!

🛒 Order online today and have your chicken delivered right to your door.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from The Little k Farm! 🇺🇸

Today, we’re grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, the opportunity to steward this land, and the privilege of raising wholesome food for families in our community.

As Old Glory waves from our front porch, we’re reminded that the values we hold dear—faith, family, hard work, and caring for the land—are worth celebrating every day.

From our farm to your family, we wish you a safe, joyful, and blessed 4th of July. May your day be filled with good food, great company, and gratitude for the blessings we share.

God bless America. ❤️🤍💙

This past week we moved 100+ Cornish Cross meat chickens out onto pasture. 🐓🌱

After spending their first few weeks safely in the brooder, these birds are now enjoying fresh air, sunshine, green grass, and plenty of space in their mobile pasture coop.

From now until processing around 8 weeks of age, they’ll be moved onto fresh pasture every single day. This daily rotation gives them constant access to clean grass and helps naturally fertilize and improve the soil at the same time.

These birds will be processed as whole chickens and raised the way we believe chickens should be raised — on pasture, with care, and without shortcuts.

We’re proud to raise food that reflects our values:

Local farms are more than just a place to buy food — they’re a foundation for food security in our communities. 🌱

When you support small, local farms:
🌾 Food stays close to home
📦 Supply stays dependable
👨‍🌾 And the process stays transparent

In a world where food often travels thousands of miles and supply chains can be uncertain, local farms provide something different — trust, consistency, and connection.

You know who raised your food.
You know how it was raised.
And you know it was done with care.

💚 Thank you for supporting local farms like ours and being part of a stronger, more secure food system.

Last week was a busy one on the farm — and the signs of spring are everywhere. 🌱🐓

Our first batch of meat chickens arrived for the year, and those little chicks are just as adorable as ever.

The ducklings took full advantage of the warmer weather and enjoyed their very first swim. 🦆💦

Out in the fields, we were able to get pastures overseeded just in time for some much-needed rain. And our laying hens? They’ve officially moved out of their winter paddock and onto fresh green grass.

Spring is a season of new life, growth, and fresh starts… and we’re grateful to be a part of it every day. 💚
