Kerns Homegrown Homegrown Produce Since 1999, Blake Kerns has been growing and selling his high-quality, homegrown produce in Oelwein, Iowa.

He now retails his produce in most grocery stores in Eastern Iowa, and has recently opened up an additional stand in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. Every single ear of sweet corn sold at his stand is not only grown by him...but PICKED THAT DAY, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, giving it that gourmet taste connoisseurs can't get enough of.

Unfortunately, the combination of recent storms 🌪️and cooler weather has cut into our supply of sweet corn.

All Kerns Homegrown stands will be CLOSED this weekend.

The good news: 💚Our next crop will be ready Monday!💚

Due to storms this morning, we weren’t able to get out and pick corn, so all Kerns Homegrown stands will be CLOSED today (8/11). See you tomorrow with a new crop of corn, beans, and berries!

🌽 NO CORN TODAY (Saturday, August 1st)— BUT WE’LL BE BACK TOMORROW! 🌽

Unfortunately, due to the amount of rain we received last night and this morning, we’re unable to get into the field and pick corn today.

The good news…we’ll be back at ALL locations tomorrow at 9 AM! 🙌🌽

Even better, we’ll be starting on a BRAND-NEW CROP, and it looks absolutely fantastic! Stands will be stocked with fresh green beans and raspberries as well.
