Each season there is a calf that steals your heart. This year it was Freddie. He was born in the midst of a very busy week with our son getting married. We needed to help him get a good start to life and didn’t know if he was gonna make it at some moments. But he was a fighter and his momma has the best maternal instinct. Even after having to bottle feed him for 3 days momma took him right back. He has been the sweetest little fluffy guy. Tomorrow he goes to his forever home with 3 of his siblings up in MA. And although I am going to miss them all as I do every time, some are harder to let go of than others. I am so happy they are all going to such a beautiful new home where I know they will be spoiled and loved on so well.
