Oddly enough, highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) is very spreadable through cattle and there have been increasing concerns about it's impact on the agricultural industry. As there have been no detections of HPAI in livestock in Florida, Ag Commissioner Simpson has issued new emergency rules concerning importing cattle into the state.
