Some of you know we had to leave our event early on Friday and cancel Saturday event for generator problems, we spent hours fixing, googling problems watching YouTube videos, fixing other stuff, hours! ( some of you know how this is)
Only to figure out we need a bigger generator!!!😩,
we have 11,000, that works great, if you don’t over load it in the heat! so now I’m looking, ugh! You know how u keep saying everything has gone up in price this year, geez this is no exception!

This is explained very well about high beef prices and they aren’t done going up,

I was listening to a rancher this week explain the cattle situation and after talking to some packers and suppliers ourselves… it really puts things into perspective.

Historically, the U.S. cattle industry operated best with around 95-100+ million head of cattle.

Right now?
America is sitting around 86 million head… the smallest herd since the 1950s.

Because of that, beef production is down roughly 15-20% from normal packing and slaughter levels.

For years, ranchers have battled droughts, expensive feed, labor shortages, inflation, and rising land costs. Many had no choice but to reduce herd sizes just to survive.

Now the entire industry is feeling it.

Packing plants are struggling to hit slaughter goals, suppliers are paying more for cattle, and those costs eventually hit grocery stores, butcher shops, and restaurants.

Experts believe by the end of 2026 we could realistically see:
🥩 Ground beef: $7-$10/lb
🥩 Ribeyes: $18-$30/lb
🥩 Raw brisket: $7-$9/lb

And the wild part?
Even if ranchers start rebuilding herds today, it takes years for calves to reach the food supply.

We know rising beef prices frustrate people.Trust us… we feel it every single week too.
