They made it! Our first Swede Tooth drop officially arrived today!

If you missed our post earlier this week, Swede Tooth has built a huge following on TikTok around authentic Swedish candy and the viral BUBS everyoneโ€™s been talking about. What makes this one especially fun is that their candy comes straight from Sweden, so youโ€™re getting the real Swedish versions that started the craze in the first place.

And if youโ€™ve never tried Swedish candy before, the textures are half the fun. Soft, chewy, foamy, fruity, sour and completely different from one candy to the next.

For our first drop, we have four varieties:

A big part of what we want Samโ€™s to be is a place where you can find products with a real story behind them, especially when that story starts right here in Florida. These three felt like an easy fit.

Dakin Dairy Farms is about as local and fresh as milk gets. Their cows are grass-fed daily, and the milk is produced and bottled right on their family farm in Manatee County. Between the grass-fed dairy, sustainable farming practices and keeping everything so close to the source, Dakin felt like a natural fit for the market.

Natalieโ€™s has become incredibly popular over the last few years, and honestly, once you try it, itโ€™s pretty easy to understand why. Their juices keep things simple with real ingredients and no preservatives or artificial ingredients. We brought in nine varieties, from juices and lemonades to some of their more unique blends, so thereโ€™s something for just about everyone.

And then thereโ€™s Yoderโ€™s Southern Creamery. If you already know Yoderโ€™s, you probably donโ€™t need much of an introduction. Their ice cream is made locally in Sarasota in small batches and finished by hand, with that old-fashioned approach theyโ€™ve become known for. Quite a few of you have asked us to carry it, so weโ€™re really happy to finally have Yoderโ€™s here at Samโ€™s. Weโ€™re starting with seven flavors, with more flavors and dairy-free options already on the way. If thereโ€™s one youโ€™d like to see us bring in, just let us know!

Weโ€™ve been looking forward to sharing this one! Weโ€™ve partnered with ๐’๐ฐ๐ž๐๐ž ๐“๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก, a local Swedish candy shop, to bring some of the candies youโ€™ve probably been seeing all over TikTok right here to Samโ€™s.

And this is the part weโ€™re especially excited about. ๐’๐ฐ๐ž๐๐ž ๐“๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก ๐›๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐š๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐œ ๐’๐ฐ๐ž๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐œ๐š๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐’๐ฐ๐ž๐๐ž๐ง. That includes Swedish-made BUBS along with all of those colorful sweet, sour, chewy and foamy candies that made the Swedish candy craze so much fun in the first place.

Thereโ€™s more to love than just the hype, too. Swede Tooth puts a lot of thought into what they carry. Their pick-and-mix is ๐ง๐จ๐ง-๐†๐Œ๐Ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐š๐๐ž ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ก๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐ซ๐ง ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ซ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ, with vegan and gluten-free options available too. Itโ€™s still candy and itโ€™s meant to be fun, but we really liked being able to bring in something a little more thoughtful when it comes to ingredients for the whole family.

And honestly, the mixes might be our favorite part. You get a little bit of everything, with different flavors, different textures and plenty of the candies youโ€™ve probably seen going viral, all in one bag.

Thereโ€™s always something about the last weekend before school starts. Summer isnโ€™t quite over, the evenings still feel a little slower, and everyone knows the routine is about to change again.
