Have you ever just sit around the house with your family & friends arguing over where and what you want to eat? Well we do, ALOT, and atleast one of us says “Lets go somewhere NEW!”. Welcome to Food Report, YOUR solution. For over five years we have been messing with cameras, editing softwares, and social media trying to find our niche. What better niche than Food and Entertainment! Me, my father, and a great friend of ours have built this company to not only experience the Mid-South in the best light, but to help you do the same as well.
Im Nic, Im 21 years old, and I have had a camera in my hand since I was 12. My first interest in filming was sparked one rainy day during Hurricane Katrina, The Mid-South was under a tropical storm. Me and my father got out an old camcorder and we went out into the rain, acting as one of the Weather Reporters struggling in the wind. I was given the camcorder and used it as much as I could, be it with friends making short films, or recording family events. As my interest in filming grew, so did technology, and here I am. Doing the one thing I could only dream of as a kid.
I'm Bryce, I'm 20 years old and ever since I was a kid I had a knack for writing and telling stories. As I got older I grew out of writing and focused on other things in my life. But as time went on I felt like I was missing something that I couldn't place. That is until I met Nic, and I saw his fascination with film. As time went on I realized I could still tell stories, not with pen and paper, but with film and so started an even better adventure into a new art form.
I’m Ben, I’m 44 years old, and I live in New York City. Like most boys growing up in the 80s, I was heavily influenced by films like Star Wars & Superman. I often thought I was Clark Kent & Luke Skywalker. 35 years later, still no lightsaber, still can’t fly. But I found out what I can do is help others tell their stories thru video. Whether it’s a restaurant owner trying to reach their audience, or an entrepreneur working hard to get a business idea off the ground everyone has a story. A year after Food Report was started, I moved to Brooklyn to find 8 million new stories that need to be told. In the end, I’m more satisfied being George Lucas, than the previously mentioned childhood heroes.
