Wish we all could just wear a pin to show we’re in the club.

I may have a problem, but I think it’s a good problem 😁.

My incubators are full because all of my waitlisted orders from last year are now being filled but I need to test fertility so offering up limited dozens for 2️⃣0️⃣.

Think of it like a waffle, low entry and high reward.

Pen 1
Roosters: The Rusty Hen Farm Maran & Chocolate Flower Farm F2 Chocolate Egger
Hens: Marans, lavender salmon marans, f1 olive egger, Welsummer Olive Egger mixes (that super speckled dark egg is hers)

Pen 2
Rooster: Heavy speckled olive egger
Hens: Wheaton Maran (blooms egg), f1 olive egger, Welsummer olive egger mix

All of the olive eggs have a blue shell.

I breed for hardiness and sweet temperament.

This vid includes some eggs not in the dozen…like the white egg 😁

Thank you Into the Meadows for these hatching eggs. These babies temperament is so docile!

The Silverrudd blues could not keep it together long enough to take a good picture 😁.

We hatched 1-heavy bloomed bc, 1-ICB, 2-silverrudds, 3-true blues.

I believe the best medicine is laughter. But let me make one thing clear.

I support you if you use a heat lamp. I support you if you use a heat plate. I support you if you just have a mixed barnyard flock. I support you if you only have top show quality rare breeds. I support you if you do egg raffles. I support you if you do long waitlist. I support you if you only post your eggs first come first serve. I support you if you want to name a mix that you've been working hard on. I support you if you free range your chickens. I support you if you never let your chickens free range. I support you if you use $15 feed from a feed store. I support you if you special order $40 feed online. I support you whether you vaccinate your birds or not. I support you if you are a brand new chicken owner who doesn't know what pullet or straight run means. And I also support you if you are a breeder who has been in the business a long time and is teaching me new things.

There are so much division in the poultry world and world in general. I'd never want to add to that. I may have my own ways I do things, and I might give suggestions of what I'd do, but at the end of the day, I support you doing what is best for your flock.
And you'll know I love to make my silly skits, joking about backyard chicken on Facebook groups or crazy customers I ran into over the years. But in the end of the day, it's also supposed to be for laughter and jokes. I'm the type of person that loves to laugh at myself and be goofy. It is never coming from a vindictive or truly judgmental place.
Now, I don't like gate keepers, scammy behavior or nasty people. And I really think that in this community, the good greatly, greatly outweigh the bad. But other than that, just like with kids, raise your chickens how you think is best at the end of the day!
We are all out here doing the best we can. I hope everyone knows that if you ever see a silly skit of mine, it's not directed at anyone in particular and I truly am not judging you if you use a heat lamp and not a heat plate or whatever it is. You do you 🐣🫶🏻
