So as I am sitting here thinking, sounds dangerous, I have had to cut back on my cooking because of the nerve issues so what now? I use to write a lot. After high school I started college to be a Journalist Major. I dropped out. I just couldn't force write.
I have worked in restaurants starting at 16 as a dishwasher and eventually cooking. I was a mobile DJ for 18 years, and sold First aid supplies and taught CPR classes for 23 years to some of the best restaurants and Chefs in Omaha. I have numerous awards in cooking, been to the World Food Championships 8 times and ranked in the top ten in the Bacon World Championships twice, placing fourth in 2023. I have worked with the Nebraska Pork Producers, taught cooking classes, judged competions, had a catering business, done speaking engagements and mentored culinary students. Even had a National magazine write an article about me.
So I came to the conclusion maybe with my background, is time to talk about the culinary seen starting in the Omaha metro area.
It will be a blog connected to my website and focusing on the positive of the culinary seen, things a place are doing right. I think I am qualified, what do you all think?
