Our last Airbnb guest that stayed in our Donut Suite brought us fresh donuts all the way from Portland, Oregon. These Blue Star Donuts tasted absolutely amazing! We haven’t finished them yet, but we have taken a bite of every single one of them. Thank you Ellie!!

While in Omaha, we found this unique bakery and there was a line so we knew it was popular among the locals.

There were so many good looking pastries that It was hard to decide. We chose a Maple Bacon and a Square Jane donut. Both of them ended up being fantastic!!! The white cream in the Square Jane donut tasted like a whipped cream.

We highly recommend this place! The next time you’re traveling through Nebraska, you must stop here.

It has been over a year since our last donut tour in Iowa, making it long past time to discover exceptional donuts in a new county.

For our 66th county visit, we selected Wyman's Spudnuts in Okoboji, Dickinson County, as part of our Iowa donut tour.

Upon recommendation, we stopped by Wyman's Spudnuts, known for their outstanding donuts made from potato dough. 

The line outside the door upon arrival was a promising sign of the donuts' excellence.

We ordered our Spudnuts, choosing a maple bacon and Walt’s apple pie, both of which were incredibly delicious and left us wanting more.

Wyman’s Spudnuts offers custom Spudnut cakes for special occasions and a variety of merchandise.

In Lincoln, Rhode Island we found this awesome donut shop called Honey Dew! I chose the powdered sugar donut with the enormous amount of frosting and sprinkles! It was extremely extraordinary!! I loved every bite!

My friends loved their selections as well!

This cute little pastry shop in Connecticut had a little bit of everything! I chose a donut with sprinkles and it was so delicious!!

If we are ever back in this area we would definitely visit again.

We are visiting Massachusetts for a series of half/full marathons and discovered an exceptional bakery late in the day! There was still a wide variety of options to choose from and everything we tried was outstanding!

They offer an extensive range of items, including unique pastries, bagels, coffee, donuts and more.

We were recently in Hoboken, New Jersey because we ran the Jersey City marathon/half marathon that morning and we were in search of donuts in a new state! I found Brandon’s Donuts To Go!

To my surprise, this donut shop was actually a restaurant/bar. As a result of its restaurant setup, they maintain later hours, staying open until 9 PM for donuts. Our donut choices were the maple bacon and samoa.

All the donuts looks scrumptious on the menu. The restaurant is beautiful! We were told that In the summer they said they have a cart outside with fresh donuts!!

I was recently in Billings, Montana to visit my daughter, and we found a donut shop we could not pass up. This super cute donut shop had amazing art on the walls and the smell of fresh donuts!

We chose three donuts: a blackberry habanero cheesecake, a lemon poppy cream, and a maple crunch. 

My favorite out of the three was the blackberry habanero cheesecake donut. It had a flavor unlike any donut I’ve ever tried before. And I’ve tried a LOT of donuts!
