DRM is a family-owned and operated company, which was founded in 1977 by Dean Johnson. His sons, Matt and Marc Johnson, who joined the company in 1984, are President & CEO and President & COO, respectively and own 100% of DRM.

Matt and Marc literally grew up in fast food and brought with them the experience, talent and foresight to make DRM one of the most flexible and enjoyable places to work. DRM currently owns and operates 73 Arby’s Restaurants in four states with the Corporate Office located in Omaha, Nebraska. DRM is divided into four primary market areas. Nebraska has 11 restaurants; seven in Lincoln, one in Beatrice, one in Gretna and two in Omaha. Iowa has 21 restaurants; eight in Des Moines, two in Ames, and one each in Altoona, Ankeny, Mason City, Ottumwa, Newton, Pella, Clear Lake, Indianola, Osceola, Carroll and Clive. Illinois has 9 restaurants in Rockford, IL two in Beloit, WI and one in Janesville, WI. Wisconsin has 32 restaurants; five in Green Bay, four in Appleton, two in Beloit and one each in Abrams, Beaver Dam, Black River Falls, Columbus, De Pere, Fond Du Lac, Janesville, Kaukauna, Manitowoc, Marinette, Neenah, New Franken, Onalaska, Oshkosh, Shawano, Sparta, Sturgeon Bay, Sun Prairie, Tomah, Waupaca and Wisconsin Dells.
