🥬AN OPEN LETTER TO LETTUCE: We miss you. Please come back. Safe and sound. 🥬

Alright family, we need to have a serious, safe-space discussion.
For the last month or so, we've been playing it safe and steering completely clear of lettuce because of the whole Cyclospora outbreak drama. We love food safety, but our hearts (and our tacos) are hurting.
We are officially suffering from Severe Crunch Withdrawal.

Like... remember the absolute joy of a crisp, refreshing bite of shredded iceberg on a classic beef taco? Or that leafy green layers on a perfect club sandwich? Or just a massive, satisfying salad that doesn't feel like playing culinary roulette?

The federal agencies say the main recalled stuff is off the market, but we've been holding the line and keeping it off the truck just to be 100% sure you guys stay safe. But man, a taco without that green shred just feels like it's missing its favorite jacket. 🌮

So, we want your honest opinions:

Hey Hurricane peeps,

We will be setting up tomorrow, Thursday 8/20, at the CAMC outpatient build in Teays from 11:30-2 for lunch. Come have a burrito, bowl or some loaded nachos and see our smiling faces.
We are also excited to be back with River Ridge church at 6pm tomorrow for their last Summer Nights event of the year. They have plenty of fun things to do for the kids and gives parents and families a chance to know your neighbor and build community with this wonder fellowship outing.

We will be back in Salt Rock this Saturday! We will be bringing our burritos and bowls to Real Deal outdoors from 11-3 for lunch. Come grab a bite, and check out the shop for their Hunters Hangout event.

We are serving up a special, super-fast $2 Flat-Rate Menu to celebrate the new school year!

Join us for Open House and Kindergarten Orientation on August 11th! School starts back for students grades K-5 on Wednesday , August 12th. PK students first day will be Thursday, August 20th . We can't wait to start a new school year !

Beautiful evening outside! We are set up at Bushel & Peck Backyard Blooms for their grand opening pick you own flowers. We will have our burrito bowls, there’s fresh lemonade and dirty sodas, and live music that starts at 6.

Two chances to see us this weekend!

We will be at Hurricane city park again this Friday 11-2 for with City of Hurricane. We are excited to see you all again.
And Saturday evening around Huntington, we will be setting up with Bushel & Peck Backyard Blooms from 4-9. This will be a neat experience to pick your own flowers, get some great food, and listen to live music.
