My family owns an event planning business. Being the youngest in a generation of four, I termed myself the 'Cake Pop'! I'm an 8th grader and I homeschool through a virtual program online. I also attend a prestigious area dance school and am very committed to continuing my activities. Aside from the basic classes that I take, I also participate in their award-winning performance company, a traveling competition team, and a pre-professional level ballet program. I absolutely love to dance! I have learned the most amazing things since I transferred and have some of the most incredible teachers. On top of that, most of my best friends go there too and we get to dance together all over the community! This year, I will be in my second year of pointe, which is exciting to me because I have been eagerly waiting to be able to take pointe since I was just three. I actually cried when I was young because I was told I couldn't, but now I am into my second year and (though painful) I love it! As you can imagine, dance is my life. Things have gotten expensive, so my mom decided that I could participate in all of these exciting activities if I could raise my own money to get there. Now I'm working toward raising funds for our summer dance camps and preparing for our fall classes and performances. It's a challenge, but I love it! :)
