When I came to Carleton Place, the first restaurant I knew of was the Thruway Restaurant. They have a great selection of food, in a wonderfully themed atmosphere, amazing staff and run by an amazing family. I have many favourites including the steak sandwich and the ham steak. Best place to go for food when the power is out, they never stop!
