Hi friends! We will be processing 4 of our Dexter steers at the end of summer/start of fall. We will be selling them by either half or whole and you can choose to have it grass fed or grain fed. We normally do grass fed and we think it tastes great. You can choose to have it processed how you want. A whole steer feeds our family for about a year. Dexters are smaller than other breeds which is great if you don’t have a huge deep freeze. We are more than happy to give you a pound of ground beef or a roast if you want to try it before committing. If you want more information, please send me a message!

It’s been grey, chilly and misty here the last few days. Fall and winter colors look so beautiful on cloudy days. Our cows are located on two different properties. Most of our dexters are on this property that borders the Caney River. These are some of our Fall 2023 or Spring 2024 calves. The cows and bulls were too busy eating alfalfa but the calves always keep a watchful eye on any people that are near.
