Bruce & Pearl hekping their mama, Eloise, with her breakfast. Most of our goats eat from bowls on the ground. But, Eloise prefers eating her breakfast through the milking stand… even though she refuses to actually let us milk her in the milking stand 🙄

Bruce & Pearl (who are obviously big Auburn 🏀 fans) were born a few weeks ago to our Eloise. They were upset they hadn’t made their social media debut yet. So, here they are 😊 They are 1/4 Lamancha and 3/4 Nigerian Dwarf and will be looking for forever homes in a few weeks. Let me know if you’re interested.

Current situation 🐐

🐐 We found a hypothermic baby goat on our little homestead this morning. After warming her up, she is still needing some extra care today. So, she’s spending the day at the law office so I can keep an eye on her and let her stay on the heating pad. There’s never a dull moment with farm animals 😅

The triplets have names 🥰
Reminder for anyone thinking they may like one: These were born to Valentina on 3/1/25. They are 1/2 Nubian, 1/4 Alpine & 1/4 Lamancha which basically means they are a mix of the 3 best milk goats. The girls should make large quantities of milk that are high in fat. We have been waiting about a year and a half to get this mix and we are so excited about these babies!

Valentina welcomed triplets on Saturday 🥰 2 girls & 1 boy. All 3 look exactly the same and are adorable (as you can see from the picture!). They are 1/2 Nubian, 1/4 Lamancha, & 1/4 Alpine. Our goal in breeding this particular “mix” is to produce goats that make a lot of milk with a high fat content. We know for sure we are keeping one of the girls. But, the boy and possibly the other girl may need new homes in a few months. So, if you’re interested in goats, check back 😊
