Their first camping trip, and they already want to go again. 🏕️🤎 Just our three grandkids and Ông Bà Nội.

Big Bear was about a two-hour drive for us. With three little ones, we wanted to keep their first camping trip close to home.

We loved showing them new things and giving them new experiences. I hope they remember this when they’re older—and hopefully this is just the beginning of more camping trips together with our OPUS Camper USA.

Chasing fall colors with a little off-roading along the way 🍂🚙 Throwback to last year’s Colorado trip with a few close off-roading friends. A few of the trails we explored were Imogene Pass, Engineer Pass, Black Bear Pass, and The Wall at Poughkeepsie Gulch. Some were challenging and a little scary, but we had such a fun trip! Looking forward to our next off-roading trip.

A whole fish dinner for two? We tried Favori’s Set A, and it was just the right amount of food for us. The $68 set came with two bowls of crab asparagus soup, rare beef salad, crispy baked catfish, and ice cream. The catfish comes with rice paper and veggies to make your own spring rolls and dip them in anchovy sauce. It’s one of my favorite meals!

Ramen with my granddaughter—and kids eat free! 🍜

My granddaughter got out of school early, so I took her to Wakayama Ramen. It was her first time, and she loved it! Their ramen portions are generous, and I love that they offer non-pork broths and chicken options.

Kids eat free when dining in, and the kids’ ramen comes with a small side of chicken karaage, gyoza, or rice!

Then we picked up her little sister and finished our afternoon at Yogurtland. It was the perfect after-school treat for this heat! 🍦💕

A little w**e time before grandparent time.🍷 We came to Terranea Resort to watch our grandkids and got to enjoy this beautiful resort along the way. Such a nice afternoon watching them play by the beach while we enjoyed the ocean view.

I had the opportunity to experience my first w**e harvest at RuVango Winery in Napa 🍇 and I loved every minute of it!

We started with w**e tasting on the patio, then woke up bright and early the next morning to watch the harvest. Getting up that early was rough 😂 but seeing the workers harvesting the grapes, learning from the w**emaker, watching the grapes go through the destemming process, and even tasting the freshly pressed grape juice made it so worth it.

It was really interesting getting to see and learn a little more about the process behind the w**e we drink—from the vineyard to the production and barrel rooms. And of course, we had to have a little fun in the vineyard too. 😂🍃

RuVango Winery is such a quaint, intimate and cozy little w**ery in Napa. Their tasting room welcomes walk-ins, so it’s a great little stop for a weekend getaway, birthday celebration or just an afternoon of w**e tasting. 🍷
